  • 1.	Daily Gratitude to the Armed Forces of Ukraine
    Quick shop

    Size: 33 x 46 1/2 inches, numbered 5/100

This poster was made on March 24, 2022 – exactly one month after the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion. It was a month of heroic resistance by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which did the impossible and surprised the whole world: they stopped the Russian onslaught and inflicted crushing defeats on the overwhelming enemy forces.

That is why, instead of dates in the calendar, the artist repeated the Ukrainian word djakujumeaning thank you.

**All proceeds will be donated to the Ukrainian Emergency Art Fund**

    10th Maccabiah Games.

    $300.00 $210.00

    Year: 1976.

    Size: 30 x 45 in./76.2 x 114.3 cm

For the summer running of the 10th Maccabiah Games -- Israel's Olympics -- Reisinger creates another dynamic image: a stylized red running figure superimposed on the country's symbolic Star of David in blue. Reisinger once again employs the use of elongated triangular elements, this time to the end of evoking the speed and excitement of the athletic competition.

Dan Reisinger is Israel's top graphic artist. He established his own design studio in Tel Aviv in 1961 and began a prolific career as a poster artist and painter. In step with his country's dynamic development, Reisinger's design activities have expanded to include corporate entities, packaging, sign systems, supergraphics, exhibition and environmental design.

    Language: English

Since the early Twentieth Century, posters have heralded the Olympic Games, whetting our appetite and shaping our expectations of the event that is to come. With their broad popular appeal and ability to project eye-catching and memorable imagery, posters have offered an ideal means of communications for the Games. This book sets the posters in the context of the Olympic Games that they announce and celebrate, including memorable images for Berlin 1936, London 1948, Barcelona 1992 and Sydney 2000. This 144-page book published by V & A Publishing, London, features 148 color illustrations of not only offial posters for both Olympic and Winter Olympic Games, but also posters for some early, alternative or cancelled games, as well as related ephemera and contextual photographs. Viewed together, the posters in this book create a rich pictorial narrative, capturing the distinctive characteristics of former games and the essence of their times.

    Year: 1978.

    Size: 30 x 45 in./76.2 x 114.3 cm

Elson's photograph of the Shubert Theater at night captures all the glitter of The Great White Way -- a perfect visual equivalent for the quintessential theatrical piece about the the gypsies who make up the heart and soul of New York's fabled musical stage. The poster doubtless contributed to the musical's then record-breaking Broadway run: 6,137 performances between October 1975 and April 1990.
